Brass Seated Bear Bookend

This charming solid brass teddy bear sits with his back straight, arms at his sides, and legs stretched out in front of him, gazing up with a sweet, curious expression. His flat back makes him a sturdy bookend, while the warm polished brass and soft sculpted curves make him just as lovely on his own as a paperweight or shelf accent. Add him to a nursery bookshelf, a library corner, or a collection of mid-century brass animals for a touch of golden whimsy.

• Era: 1970’s
• Condition: Good vintage condition. Polished brass with patina and tarnish spots on the feet; small casting pit on the sole of one foot.

A delightful gift for a new baby, a book lover, or anyone who collects mid-century brass animals.
