Terracotta Sleeping Lamb Shelf Sitter

Shh, the little lamb is napping. This vintage terracotta figurine is sculpted as a sleeping lamb with closed eyes, floppy ears, and a fleece made of hand-tooled swirling curls, softly highlighted with whitewash in the crevices. Its head and front leg droop forward so it can rest on the edge of a shelf, mantel, or windowsill as if dozing off. The warm, natural clay looks just as charming tucked in a potted plant, on a porch step, or in a spring or Easter display.
